Win an iPod Shuffle – Try 2

Alright, my last iPod Shuffle give away failed to actually lead to a give away. So here it goes again. If @ObamaNews gets 100,000 followers by midnight on Easter, I’ll give away a 2nd Gen Shuffle. All of the other fine print from the last contest still applies. Good luck, and don’t forget to tell your friends!

I am so proud of my President. You know what? I really want an IPOD and do not have the extra money to purchase one so I am going to recruit some folks to follow Obama News!
Even if I don’t win, it will be fun!

  • Eric Iverson

I’ll do what I can. But thanks to Obama’s stimulus bill, I’m getting enough extra take home pay to cover the cost of a shuffle in a few paychecks.

Not actually competing – Just want to say to the whole Obama Family – a genuine THANKS for being. You are all beautiful people.
I’m long past it, but I’m content to know that you will ALL make a vast AND GOOD difference to this sorry world.
It isn’t the world which I was promised when at school, oh so many years ago.
Each day now seems to give birth to some new corruption, violent act, or political incompetence. (e.g. Blair & Bush). Not so fussed about Gordo either. Wholly uninspiring!

My childhood was spent over the period of W.W. II, but it seemed “more peaceful” then than now!
But hey, Barak, thanks for coming to England, and enlivening us, even
    for a short time.
For all that, Life is still great, and, YES WE CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think in a former life I was a Queen, Not sure what I was the Queen of but I’m pretty sure I was a Queen. It is threrefore that I should be gifted an Ipod just as the American people gifted Queen Elizabeth with an Ipod. I too could then listen to my Jonas Brothers and Sir Elton without bothering any of the staff and chambermaids…as they go along with their duties at the castle. Not to mention how ool I will look walking around with the cool earbuds. So hrere and now let the decree go out for royalty to have the gift of the ipod it is only right since IPOD stands for I’m the Prince Of Duke (IPOD). So thank you for your royal contenplation,

Quite a lot of gin and fags about!!!

I would love to win one (even though I don’t own one myself) to give to one of my top college students. I would re-gift it to a student that has been SMART and worked hard all year. Being (or pretending) to be dumb or lazy is just not “in” or cool (as if it ever was.) Thanks for the fun and the chance!.

Totally agree with this sentiment. I’ll be turning 50 next week, have seen a fair amount of good and bad over the years. The last 20 in many ways has been a drag to the majority of us in the USA. I look forward to the much more upfront and honest changes coming from this President.

    Cheers!

to jOHN TAMI – THANKS FOR THAT – i APPRECIATE IT.

The exact opposite of DUMBING DOWN is Michelle’s talk to a London, England, girls’ school last week.

BEING AN ACHIEVER IS COOL. World Media – please note.
Now immersed in second reading of “The Audacity of Hope” AUDACITY – wonderful word – wonderful man.

If the Obamas like iPod, then so do I. I have a cancer, but, ISN’T LIFE A GREAT GIFT?

Been speaking from England with my Bro-in-law living in Virginia. His attitude is “if anyone can, Obama can.”
I’d say that this attitude is general in England. Suddenly, we feel that sanity has entered the Whitehouse. Thanks Michelle, and thanks Barack – we enjoyed your visit to England, and wish you well in Turkey.
Now we feel safer than for all of Bush’s administartion.
We’ve had enough warfare. Life is too valuable to spend it in destruction & killing. I want to see the completion of the human evolution – to a clever peacemaker and provider one to the other. This needs the aura of love which is emanated by the Obamas.
    The whole world needs LOVE.

  • Dennis Allsop

Now into second reading of “The audacity of Hope.” Wonderful word – in this context -AUDACITY. And do we so HOPE for international friendship.
In England, we can now see the U.S.A. in a different light – there is a chance that you will turn against wishing to dominate the world by force of arms.
Education and achievement are cool. Guns and killing are naff. Sadly, I have killed whilst in the British Army.
My maternal Grandfather, during the 19th Century, yearned for Internationalism, and peace amongst all people. Might his dream begin to be realised with Barack Obama?
Stand back Mr Cheyney – you are now a man of the past!!
Enlightenment is now to be the order of the day. It’s a new Renaissance!! Let it be.

  • Dennis Allsop

To John Tami – Happy Birthday this week John. Have a good one. Mine on the 26th. Where did all those years go to?
Still, life is a ball, even when it’s rough – provided that one can summon up the right attitude.
In a shrinking world, we all need to bind together – not to pull apart.

I’m well on in my life, but I still look forward with HOPE. .
Now, I can be assured that the most powerful Nation on earth is led by the right man.
Don’t make all the mistakes which Britain made when we dominated the world.
And, never forget – YES WE CAN!

  • Holly

Greetings, I am so grateful that you are our president. It has been a great relief to have you in office. I’m looking forward to many years of hope. The school that I teach at started a community service club called “Yes We Can!” It’s awesome! You have touched so many lives.

President Obama, Thank you, for being a for the people type of president. Its because of you that we are being taxes less in our paychecks. Its because of your sensitivity that you have extended unemployment benefits, its because of you that our ‘health care’ system will be revamped so that the high cost of health is cut down to reality. Thank you for looking our for our children, thank you for watching out for our countries safety by showing the world that you are a down-to-earth, straight to the point and not a patsy nor angry at the world president. Thank you for listening to our voices. Thank you for wanting to know what we feel. Thank you for your generosity for stressing the importance of better built vehicles, better energy, Thank you for working to improve our countries values. In a short period of time, you, our President, has taken the reigns towards creating a better USA. Thank you, May God Bless you, your family, your cabinet, your staff. I’m very excited with all that you have done as well as what is yet to be accomplished. Your focus is direct, your stance is strong. Thank you for being you.

Obama Mama here! My poor iPod has been used to death. I would love a new one. It has every Earth Wind & Fire song (over 400). Obama has EWF on his iPod too and who did he invite to play first at the White House, EWF of course.

Hello from England – have just watched T.V. from Turkey. Obama had the audience captivated. He also did the same to me.

A politician answering pointed questions in a confident and upright manner.

    It’s all soooooo good.

The rest of the world’s leaders are so dull and set in past mores!. Obama is the shining beacon. Do go on to greater and greater things, Barack.

My favourite quote from this morning -” Europe is still mad at things from 1000 years ago. The U.S.A. is optimistic enough to look into the future, and not to try to settle OLD scores.” TRUE – TRUE – TRUE
