Regretfully I had to ask my husband to help me pay a friend, that I owed past rent to. He went to the ATM reluctantly then handed it to me quickly with hesitation on his face. We're not rich by any means, and actually currently do not have any steady income, just living off of the final savings that we have. If I knew I was going to receive the money from him in that manner, I'd rather not have asked him for it. I imagine God may feel similar. I think when people give begrudgingly it shows a lack of faith and without faith, it's impossible to please God.
